Convert EVO to BMP Sequence
|
The BMP file format, also known as bitmap image file or
Device Independent Bitmap (DIB) file format or simply a bitmap, is a raster graphics
image file format used to store bitmap digital images, independently of the display
device (such as a graphics adapter), especially on Microsoft Windows and OS/2
operating systems. The BMP is stored uncompressed; so it's a lossless image format,
but file size is very big.
EVO to BMP Converter Software converts EVO to BMP sequence files.
With the software, you could get every frame image of EVO in BMP format. The
converter software also supports other output image formats such as JPG,
PNG, and TIFF. You can convert only a part of EVO to BMP instead of the entire
file. And you can set how many frames per second to be extracted with the software.
The output BMP files look something like this.
The software also supports other formats and portable devices such as MP2, TIFF image sequence, Windows Phone, 3G2, PPM image sequence, SWF, WMA,
etc. The software could convert XVID to FLAC, 3G2 to SWF, WebM to AIFF, MOD to AMR, FLV to OGG, and so on.
EVO to BMP Software supports batch conversion and, is compatible
with Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP/2000.
What is EVO?
HD-DVD and BlueRay enhanced VOB file format. The HD DVD Promotion Group
was dissolved on March 28, 2008. HD DVD (short for High-Definition/Density
DVD) is a discontinued high-density optical disc format for storing data
and high-definition video. There is also a hybrid HD DVD format which contains
both DVD and HD DVD versions of the same movie on a single disc, providing
a smooth transition for the studios in terms of publishing movies, and
allowing consumers with only DVD players to still use the discs. A secondary
soundtrack, if present, can be stored in any of the aforementioned formats,
or in one of the HD DVD optional codecs: DTS-HD High Resolution Audio and
DTS-HD Master Audio. HD DVD-RAM has a single-layer capacity of 20 GB. Like
the original DVD format, the data layer of an HD DVD is 0.6 mm below the
surface to physically protect the data layer from damage. It is an extension
to VOB, which is an extension to MPEG-2 Program stream. Because all variants
except 3* DVD and HD REC employed a blue laser with a shorter wavelength,
HD DVD could store about 3.2 times as much data per layer as its predecessor
(maximum capacity: 15 GB per layer instead of 4.7 GB per layer). The extensions
are in the form of private stream data and their interpretation. All HD
DVD titles use UDF version 2.5 as the file system. In this file system,
multiplexed audio and video streams are stored in EVO container format.
As with previous optical disc formats, HD DVD supports several file systems,
such as ISO 9660 and Universal Disk Format (UDF). HD DVD drives can also
be used with a desktop/laptop personal computer (PC) running Windows XP,
Windows Vista, Mac OS X v10.5 "Leopard", and many varieties of
Linux.
What is BMP?
A BMP is an image format that is generally quite large because images in
this format are uncompressed. It is the standard image format for Windows
operating systems. While BMP images are quite large, you can resize them
to a different resolution if you want to upload them to a website or device
with a size limitation. Windows bitmap files are stored in a device-independent
bitmap (DIB) format that allows Windows to display the bitmap on any type
of display device. The term "device independent" means that the
bitmap specifies pixel color in a form independent of the method used by
a display to represent color. The default filename extension of a Windows
DIB file is .BMP. Bitmap file header: this block of bytes is at the start
of the file and is used to identify the file. A typical application reads
this block first to ensure that the file is actually a BMP file and that
it is not damaged. The first two bytes of the BMP file format are the character
'B' then the character 'M' in 1-byte ASCII encoding. All of the integer
values are stored in little-endian format (i.e. least-significant byte
first). The colors in the color table are usually specified in the 4-byte
per entry 8.8.8.0.8 format (in RGBAX notation). The color table used with
the OS/2 BITMAPCOREHEADER uses the 3-byte per entry 8.8.8.0.0 format. The
BMP file format is capable of storing 2D digital images of arbitrary width,
height, and resolution, both monochrome and color, in various color depths,
and optionally with data compression, alpha channels, and color profiles.
Out of these four blocks, the color palette is the only one that can vary
in size depending on the depth of the bitmap data. The various depths available
are 1 (mono), 4 (indexed), 8 (indexed), 16 (5:6:5 RGB), 16 (5:5:5:1 RGB),
16 (5:5:5:1 RGBA), 24 (true color), 32 (true color RGB), and 32 (true color
RGBA).
