and so on.
DAT to iPhone Converter Software supports batch conversion and, is compatible with
Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP/2000.
What is DAT?
The format is a standard digital format for storing video on a Compact
Disc. 352x240 (or SIF) resolution was chosen because it is half the vertical,
and half the horizontal resolution of NTSC video. Overall picture quality
is intended to be comparable to VHS video. The VCD standard was created
in 1993 by Sony, Philips, Matsushita, and JVC and is referred to as the
White Book standard. Though supplanted by the two aforementioned formats,
VCDs are still popular, particularly in the low cost market. By compressing
both the video and audio streams, a VCD is able to hold 74 minutes of picture
and sound information, nearly the same duration as a standard 79 minute
audio CD. Windows Media Player prior to version 9 and QuickTime Player
do not support playing VCD directly, though they can play the .DAT files
(stored under MPEGAV for video and audio data) reliably, and plugins were
available. Audio specifications: Codec: MPEG-1 Audio Layer II; Frequency:
44,100 hertz (44.1 kHz); Output: Dual channel or stereo; Bitrate: 224 kilobits
per second; Rate Control: Constant bitrate. Similarly, the audio frequency
range is limited to those sounds most clearly heard by the human ear. Video
specifications: Codec: MPEG-1; Resolution: 352x240 (NTSC), 352x288 (PAL/SECAM);
Aspect Ratio: 4:3 (NTSC), 4:3 (PAL/SECAM); Framerate: 29.97 or 23.976 frames
per second (NTSC), 25 frames per second (PAL/SECAM); Bitrate: 1,150 kilobits
per second; Rate Control: constant bitrate. The MPEG-1 compression used
records mostly the differences between successive video frames, rather
than write out each frame individually. The disc format is also supported
using Windows Media Player Classic variations and VLC Media Player both
support VCDs natively.
What is iPhone?
iPhone is a smartphone made by Apple that combines an iPod, a tablet PC,
a digital camera and a cellular phone. The device includes Internet browsing
and networking capabilities. While reception to the iPhone 5 has been generally
positive, the new Maps application has been negatively received and was
reported to contain many serious errors. Several hardware issues have also
received criticism from consumers and reviewers, including an unintended
purple hue in photos taken by the iPhone 5 and an issue with its coating
being prone to chipping. In addition, there have been a small number of
reports claiming a light leak around the bezel near the top of the display
on white models. Also, some incompatibilities with certain LTE networks
are an issue, despite being the first Apple phone to support LTE. The touchscreen
on the first five generations is a 9 cm (3.5 in) liquid crystal display
with scratch-resistant glass, while the one on the iPhone 5 is 4 inches.
The capacitive touchscreen is designed for a bare finger, or multiple fingers
for multi-touch sensing. The screens on the first three generations have
a resolution of 320 * 480 (HVGA) at 163 ppi; those on the iPhone 4 and
iPhone 4S have a resolution of 640 * 960 at 326 ppi, and the iPhone 5,
1,136 * 640 at 326 ppi. The iPhone 5 model's screen results in an aspect
ratio of nearly exactly 16:9. On July 11, 2008, Apple released the iPhone
3G in twenty-two countries, including the original six. Apple released
the iPhone 3G in upwards of eighty countries and territories. Reviews by
Gizmodo and TechRadar concluded that although the redesigned earphones
sounded better than its predecessor, the quality of sound produced is still
considered poor. TechRadar further claimed that the EarPods is inferior
to other earphones of a similar price.
