video size automatically.
The converter supports common media formats such as 3G2, OGM, Android Tablet, MPG, WebM (VP8), MP2, H.264, etc. It
could convert DVD to DivX, MPEG to MP2, OGG to Android Phone, 3G2 to WAV, FLV to 3G2, and so on. In other words, the software is an ideal format

What is M4V?
An M4V file is a type of MPEG-4 video file, largely used by Apple in its
iTunes store. The differences are the optional Apple's DRM copyright protection,
and the treatment of AC3 (Dolby Digital) audio which is not standardized
for the MP4 container. M4V is the common but non-standard use of the MPEG-4
file extensions. It is due to the popularity of Apple's iPod and the iTunes
Store. It is also playable by the Android operating system with its video
player. There are two definitions for the term M4V. The first is that raw
MPEG-4 Visual bitstreams are named .m4v. The second, and much more likely,
is that you have legally downloaded a video file from the Apple iTunes
store and it has the M4V extension. These files can be movies, TV shows
or music videos and all will include Apple's FairPlay DRM copyright protection.
The M4V is a standard format and is used on a variety of other products.
The M4V video file can be embedded on a website in HTML code by using the
<video> tag. This tag, introduced in HTML5, makes it simple to embed
an M4V file. To play a protected M4V file, the computer needs to be authorized
(using iTunes) with the account that was used to purchase the video. MPEG-4
is a multimedia container format. Most video files downloaded from the
iTunes store are not authorized for duplication by anyone other than the
copyright holder and thus are stored in protected M4V files. M4V can be
read by all Mac products, like iPhone and iPod Touch, but it is not widely
readable in non-Mac devices and programs. Many video editors will save
files as nonprotected M4V files due to their high quality and relatively
small file size.
What is MKV?
The Matroska Multimedia Container is an open standard, free container format,
a file format that can hold an unlimited number of video, audio, picture, or
subtitle tracks in one file. It is a universal format for storing common
multimedia content, like movies or TV shows. Hence, it often becomes necessary to convert MKV files to MPEG1
VCDs or MPEG2 DVDs. The software used for building the files is free for
public distribution and use, and the developers have created tools to help
create and edit MKV files. This is a play on the container (media within
a form of media/doll within a doll) aspect of the matryoshka as it is a
container for visual and audio data. The Matroska developers are also continually
working along with hardware producers to include MKV support in multimedia
software typically included with new computers and support in a variety
of operating systems. Matroska is similar in concept to other containers
like AVI, MP4, or Advanced Systems Format (ASF), but is entirely open in
specification, with implementations consisting mostly of open source software.
One MKV file can hold an unlimited number of audio, video, and subtitle
tracks. The source code of the libraries developed by the Matroska Development
Team is licensed under GNU L-GPL. A number of companies produce hardware
such as Blu-ray players and media centres that support the Matroska container
including Asus, OPPO Digital, Panasonic, LG, Samsung, Sharp, Sony, LaCie,
and Western Digital. The name "matroska" was derived from the
Russian word "matryoshka," referring to the Russian dolls that
contain many dolls within one doll. Matroska is an open standards project.
This means for personal use it is absolutely free to use and that the technical
specifications describing the bitstream are open to everybody, even to
companies that would like to support it in their products.
