What is EVO?
An EVO file (Enhanced VOB) is a container format contained in HD DVD video
media. The numerical aperture of the optical pick-up head is 0.65, compared
with 0.6 for DVD. All HD DVD players are backward compatible with DVD and
CD. HD DVD-ROM, HD DVD-R and HD DVD-RW have a single-layer capacity of
15 GB, and a dual-layer capacity of 30 GB. Because all variants except
3* DVD and HD REC employed a blue laser with a shorter wavelength, HD DVD
could store about 3.2 times as much data per layer as its predecessor (maximum
capacity: 15 GB per layer instead of 4.7 GB per layer). It is an extension
to VOB, which is an extension to MPEG-2 Program stream. A wide variety
of resolutions are supported, from low-resolution CIF, all SDTV resolutions
supported by DVD-Video, and HDTV formats: 720p, 1080i, and 1080p. There
is also a hybrid HD DVD format which contains both DVD and HD DVD versions
of the same movie on a single disc, providing a smooth transition for the
studios in terms of publishing movies, and allowing consumers with only
DVD players to still use the discs. However, the HD DVD physical disc specifications
(but not the codecs) are still in use as the basis for the China Blue High-definition
Disc (CBHD) formerly called CH-DVD. The storage size also varies: A dual-layer
HD DVD holds a maximum of 30 GB of data, while a dual-layer Blu-ray Disc
carries 50 GB. All HD DVD titles use UDF version 2.5 as the file system.
In this file system, multiplexed audio and video streams are stored in
EVO container format. It contains the actual video, audio, subtitle and
menu contents in stream form. As with previous optical disc formats, HD
DVD supports several file systems, such as ISO 9660 and Universal Disk
Format (UDF).

boot to the homescreen, the primary navigation and information point on
the device, which is similar to the desktop found on PCs. Android homescreens
are typically made up of app icons and widgets; app icons launch the associated
app, whereas widgets display live, auto-updating content such as the weather
forecast, the user's email inbox, or a news ticker directly on the homescreen.
A homescreen may be made up of several pages that the user can swipe back
and forth between. The iPhone has been very popular for AT&T, but unless
you void your warranty to unlock it, you can only use an iPhone with AT&T.
Android is an open platform, so many carriers can potentially offer Android-powered
phones. That doesn't mean individual carriers won't lock the specific phone

Click "Add Files" to choose EVO files.
Choose one or more EVO files you want to convert and then click Open.
EVO to Android Software will open EVO files and get file information
of the file such as width, height, frame rate, video bit rate, audio sample rate,
audio bit rate, audio channels, and then display the information of EVO file
at conversion list.

format. Click on combo-box of output format and then choose "to Android
3GP" or "to Android MP4".

Set Android Encoding Parameters
If you want to change Android encoding parameters such as video codec, bit rate,
frame rate, video size, aspect ratio, audio codec, and so on, please click "Options".
And then, switch to tab "Video & Audio" and choose "Android
3GP" or "Android MP4" at "Output Format",
and then set options for video and audio encoding.
The Android supports H.263 (3GP), H.264, and MPEG-4 SP codecs for video. Video
size depends on your Android device capacity. The bit rate depends on video size.
The bigger video size is, the bigger bit rate is. For example, 448 or 512 kbps
is good enough for 480x320.
