What is OGG?
Ogg is a free, open container format maintained by the Xiph.Org Foundation.
The format consists of chunks of data each called an Ogg Page. Each page
begins with the characters, OggS, to identify the file as Ogg format. As
of August 4, 2011, the current version of the Xiph.Org Foundation's reference
implementation, is libogg 1.3.0. Another version, libogg2, has been in

was separated from Vorbis on September 2, 2000. The OGG file type is most
commonly associated with the audio compression program Vorbis. These files

good audio quality vs. file size. MP3 is the industry-standard digital
audio format. The creators of the Ogg format state that it is unrestricted
by software patents and is designed to provide for efficient streaming
and manipulation of high quality digital multimedia. OGG includes a number
of separate independent open source codecs for both audio and video. Due
to the fact that this format is patent-free and fully open ogg's various
codecs have been incorporated into a number of different free and commercial
media players. Its name originates from jargon that means to do something
forcefully, possibly without consideration of the drain on future resources.
At its inception the Ogg project was thought to be somewhat ambitious given
the power of the PC hardware of the time. Vorbis files (which have an .ogg
extension) compress to a smaller size than MP3 files, which reduces bandwidth
and storage requirements. According to many reports, Vorbis provides better
sound quality than MP3.
What is iPhone?
iPhone is a smartphone made by Apple that combines an iPod, a tablet PC,
a digital camera and a cellular phone. The device includes Internet browsing

varied. There are applications which allow it to act like an ocarina, show
the phone's location on a map via A-GPS, randomly choose local restaurants
for the user, play games, or just display interesting images. Applications
are developed both by Apple Inc. and third-parties. The iPhone can enlarge
text to make it more accessible for vision-impaired users, and can accommodate
hearing-impaired users with closed captioning and external TTY devices.
The iPhone 3GS also features white on black mode, VoiceOver (a screen reader),
and zooming for impaired vision, and mono audio for limited hearing in
one ear. Apple regularly publishes Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates
which explicitly state compliance with the US regulation "Section
508".
