an easy-to-use interface, it makes FLV to H.264 conversion routine as easy
as 1-2-3, without knowledge of FLV and H.264. The converter helps any beginners
and experts to create high quality video files in minutes. This program encodes
FLV to H.264 with professional quality. The FLV to H.264 Converter Software enables
more people enjoy the advantage about this advanced video
coding. The H.264 is one of HTML5 video formats, you can also
put the H.264 video to your website.
The software could convert more than 100 media foramts to popular video formats
and portable devices such as WebM (VP8), FLAC, Android Tablet, MP3, H.264, SWF, FLV, etc. It could convert H263 to AAC, MKV to AVI, FLV to MKA, MP4 to OGM, DIVX to FLV,
and so on.
FLV to H.264 Converter Software supports batch conversion and,
is full compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP/2000.
What is FLV?
Flash Live Video (FLV) is a popular video format that displays videos at
very high qualities and is designed for web playback. This popular format
is used by many video-sharing websites such as Youtube, Metacafe and Google
video. Flash Video has been accepted as the default online video format
by many sites. FLV (flash video), on the other hand, is a format mainly
designed for Web payback using the Adobe Flash Player because it supports
high-rate video compressions. Supported media types in F4V file format:
Video: H.264; Images (still frame of video data): GIF, PNG, JPEG; Audio:
AAC, HE-AAC, MP3. FLV files also support uncompressed audio or ADPCM format
audio. The latter F4V file format is based on the ISO base media file format
and is supported starting with Flash Player 9 update 3. Flash Player does
not check the extension of the file, but rather looks inside the file to
detect which format it is. FLV was originally developed by Macromedia.
Because of restrictions in the FLV file format, Adobe Systems has created
in 2007 new file formats listed below, based on the ISO base media file
format (MPEG-4 Part 12). Starting with SWF files created for Flash Player
9 Update 3, Flash Player can also play the new F4V file format. Audio in
Flash Video files is usually encoded as MP3. However, audio in Flash Video
FLV files recorded from the user's microphone use the proprietary Nellymoser
Asao Codec. (Flash Player 10 released in 2008 also supports the open source
Speex codec.) The new file formats are completely different from the older
FLV file format. Support for encoding Flash Video files is provided by
an encoding tool included with Adobe's Flash Professional and Creative
Suite products, On2's Flix encoding tools, Sorenson Squeeze, FFmpeg and
other third party tools.
What is H.264?
The H.264 video file format is a compressed file that still maintains all
of its video and audio detail. Therefore, the difference between hardware
and software based implementation is more on power-efficiency, flexibility
and cost. The H.264 video format has a very broad application range that
covers all forms of digital compressed video from low bit-rate Internet
streaming applications to HDTV broadcast and Digital Cinema applications
with nearly lossless coding. A specific decoder decodes at least one, but
not necessarily all profiles. The decoder specification describes which
of the profiles can be decoded. These extensions enabled higher quality
video coding by supporting increased sample bit depth precision and higher-resolution
color information, including sampling structures known as Y'CbCr 4:2:2
(=YUV 4:2:2) and Y'CbCr 4:4:4. The CCTV (Closed Circuit TV) and Video Surveillance
markets have included the technology in many products. The JVT management
team was extended by Jens-Rainer Ohm (Aachen University, Germany). ASIC
encoders with H.264 encoder functionality are available from many different
semiconductor companies, but the core design used in the ASIC is typically
licensed from one of a few companies such as Chips&Media, On2 (formerly
Hantro, acquired by Google), Imagination. Some companies have both FPGA
and ASIC product offerings. The standardization of the first version of
H.264/AVC was completed in May 2003. However, the latest quad-core general-purpose
x86 CPUs have sufficient computation power to perform real-time SD and
HD encoding. That work included the development of two new profiles of
the standard: the Multiview High Profile and the Stereo High Profile.
