3G2 to H.264 Converter Software converts 3G2 files to H.264. With
an easy-to-use interface, it makes 3G2 to H.264 conversion routine as easy
as 1-2-3, without knowledge of 3G2 and H.264. The converter helps any beginners
and experts to create high quality video files in minutes. This program encodes
3G2 to H.264 with professional quality. The 3G2 to H.264 Converter Software enables
more people enjoy the advantage about this advanced video
coding. The H.264 is one of HTML5 video formats, you can also
put the H.264 video to your website.
The software could convert more than 100 media foramts to popular video formats
and portable devices such as MPG, VOB (DVD Video), WMV, Xvid, VOC, MP4, SPX (Speex), etc. It could convert DVD to CAF (Core Audio Format), DIVX to OGM, MOV to 3G2, M2TS to Xvid, DVD to Android Tablet,
and so on.
3G2 to H.264 Converter Software supports batch conversion and,
is full compatible with 32-bit and 64-bit editions of Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP/2000.
What is 3G2?
The Third Generation Partnership Project 2. The 3G2 is a simpler version
of the MP4 format which is also used on many cellphones. 3G2 file format
does not store Enhanced aacPlus (HE-AAC v2) and AMR-WB+ audio streams.
It stands for "Third Generation Partnership Project" and it is
primarily used for 3G mobile phones. 3G2 comprises North American and Asian
interests developing global specifications for ANSI/TIA/EIA-41 Cellular
Radiotelecommunication Intersystem Operations network evolution to 3G and
global specifications for the radio transmission technologies (RTTs) supported
by ANSI/TIA/EIA-41. 3GPP2 was born out of the International Telecommunication
Union's (ITU) International Mobile Telecommunications "IMT-2000"
initiative, covering high speed, broadband, and Internet Protocol (IP)-based
mobile systems featuring network-to-network interconnection, feature/service
transparency, global roaming and seamless services independent of location.
IMT-2000 is intended to bring high-quality mobile multimedia telecommunications
to a worldwide mass market by achieving the goals of increasing the speed
and ease of wireless communications, responding to the problems faced by
the increased demand to pass data via telecommunications, and providing
"anytime, anywhere" services. However, if you are trying to view
the file on a your computer, you will have to convert the file into a more
common video file format. A 3G mobile phone can play 3G2 files, but some
2G and 4G phones can as well. PlayStation 3 can also play 3G files that
are downloaded onto its hard drive. The 3G2 file type is primarily associated
with '3GPP2'. 3GPP2 is the new worldwide standards for the creation, delivery
and playback of multimedia over 3rd generation, high-speed wireless networks.
What is H.264?
The H.264 video codec supports high definition video and audio and it can
be used with many different file formats such as MP4, MPEG, AVI and MOV
to name just a few. In December 2001, VCEG and the Moving Picture Experts
Group (MPEG - ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 29/WG 11) formed a Joint Video Team (JVT),
with the charter to finalize the video coding standard. Baseline Profile
(BP): Primarily for low-cost applications that require additional data
loss robustness, this profile is used in some videoconferencing and mobile
applications. This profile includes all features that are supported in
the Constrained Baseline Profile, plus three additional features that can
be used for loss robustness (or for other purposes such as low-delay multi-point
video stream compositing). The importance of this profile has faded somewhat
since the definition of the Constrained Baseline Profile in 2009. All Constrained
Baseline Profile bitstreams are also considered to be Baseline Profile
bitstreams, as these two profiles share the same profile identifier code
value. An additional goal was to provide enough flexibility to allow the
standard to be applied to a wide variety of applications on a wide variety
of networks and systems, including low and high bit rates, low and high
resolution video, broadcast, DVD storage, RTP/IP packet networks, and ITU-T
multimedia telephony systems. The JVT management team was extended by Jens-Rainer
Ohm (Aachen University, Germany). The Scalable Video Coding extensions
were completed in November 2007. These extensions enabled higher quality
video coding by supporting increased sample bit depth precision and higher-resolution
color information, including sampling structures known as Y'CbCr 4:2:2
(=YUV 4:2:2) and Y'CbCr 4:4:4.
